Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film transfer apparatus for thermally transferring the transfer layer of a transfer film for protecting a printed surface on which a character or a pattern is printed by a card printer, whose cost, installation area and heat energy consumption are reduced.
SOLUTION: This transfer apparatus is constituted so as to have a transfer unit part 2 fusing the transfer layer 34 of a transfer film 30 to a card 40 by the heat transmitted through a hot roll 10 and consisting of at least the hot roll, a platen roll 20 applying pressure to the hot roll 10 and a peeling roll 50 as a mechanism for peeling the base film 32 of the transfer film 30 bonded at this time and the card 40. In this case, two or more transfer plates 18A, 18B having different patterns are held to the surface of the hot roll 10 in the circumferential direction of the roll 10.
