Title:
FILMING METHOD OF PHOSPHOR SCREEN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6047339
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a lacquer film with high quality and effectively use material then facilitate filming process management by obtaining the number of glass panel rotations that can make excessive lacquer solution fall by the gravitation in the latter process after lacquer liquid is injected and applied.

CONSTITUTION: After lacquer solution is injected in a rotary glass panel, the rotation of the glass panel is stopped for a preset time or is set to the number of low rotations in such a degree where lacquer solution falls from the inner surface of the glass panel by the gravitation. Then while the glass panel is being rotated, lacquer film is formed by heating and drying the lacquer solution. As a result, the blistering generated by the size of the film thickness resulting from uneven foams or deviation of the lacquer solution or the dirt of the glass panel caused by the diffusion of the lacquer solution are eliminated and a stable phosphor film with high quality can be obtained. In addition, since the lacquer solution is not diffused, excessive lacquer solution can fully be recollected and material can effectively be used.
