Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent in advance a trouble of mistakenly pulling out a safety plug in taking out a fire extinguisher by inserting a hand in a fire extinguisher box in a tunnel from the above.SOLUTION: In a fire extinguisher 50, an upper metal fitting 56 equipped with a valve part is fixed on a container body 52. In the upper metal fitting 56, an operational lever 60 for opening the valve part is provided on an upper side of a stationary lever 58 for carrying. On the operational lever 60, a safety plug 62 is provided. A fire extinguishing chemical is discharged from a nozzle 68 of a hose 66 by pulling out the safety plug 62 and pressing down the operational lever 60. A protection cover 72A is arranged in a position covering a circumference of the safety plug 62 and the operational lever 60 of the fire extinguisher 50 to prevent the safety plug 62 from being pulled out in pulling up the fire extinguisher 50 from the above. In the use of the fire extinguisher 50, the safety plug 62 and the operational lever 60 are exposed and can be operated by rotating the protection cover 72A to the front.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
