Abstract:
To provide a fire hydrant device that does not interfere with evacuation of persons evacuating using a watchman's passage while an operation can be executed from the watchman's passage.SOLUTION: There is provided a fire hydrant device 1 consisting of a box-type housing 7 installed in a space 87 for installation in a watchman's passage 83 constructed on a shoulder of a driveway 85 in a tunnel. The housing 7 includes a top plate part 9 that can be used as a road surface of the watchman's passage. The top plate part 9 includes openings 33 and 37 for operating the fire hydrant device 1, and door bodies 35 and 39 for covering the openings 33 and 37 so as to open/close them. Fall prevention means 41 is provided in the periphery of the top plate part 9 at a position opposed to the depth of the openings 33 and 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
