Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the number and area of thermal bridges between both the sides of a fireproof glass plate device reducible.

CONSTITUTION: A fireproof glass plate device for preventing the passage of fire and smoke from one space to another in the case of fire is equipped with a fireproof glass plate 1 having a protective layers 1d made of many layers activated by the action of heat and an attaching device for retaining the fireproof glass plate 1. The fireproof glass plate 1 has a penetrated hole 9 penetrated by a supporting member 8 of the attaching device. The penetrated hole 9 has a gap slightly larger than the supporting member 8 provided therein which is formed between the supporting member 8 and the penetrated hole 9 and is completely filled with a compound 12 suited to the transmission of a pushing force such as a synthetic resin compound.
