Abstract:

PURPOSE: To continuously fit many rows of bolt-type ribbed roofing materials on a seam type ribbed roof and provide an excellent water tightness on the upstream side of water and enable application to a material having a large thermal expansion coefficent

CONSTITUTION: The end of a seam type ribbed roof 4 is placed on one side of the hill of a tight-frame 3. The end of a transparent bolt type ribbed roofing material 5 for a roof light window is placed at the fitting position of a clip 6 at the other side through metal fittings 7 for the roofing materials. A cutting- off covering member 8 is placed between the ends of both roofing materials 4, 5 and fastened with rivets 10. The metal fittings 7 for the roofing materials are provided with a step 7b in the inclined direction and the bolt type ribbed roofing material 5 is fixed at the loose hole 12 of the step 7b with rivets 10 to cope with the thermal deformation. When a plurality of rows of the bolt type ribbed roofing materials are continuously arranged, the covering member 8 is placed between the ends of bolt-type ribbed roofing materials 5 of both ends of a tight-frame 3 and fixed with rivets 10. A pressing metalware block 13 is fixed to the upper part of bolt type ribbed roofing material 5 if necessary.
