PURPOSE: To set work in a desired position to expand the kind and range of working without the restraint of a column by loosening a fixing bolt, and pushing a table in a desired direction on a base to change the position and attitude of the table.
CONSTITUTION: In adjusting the position of a table 2, a fixing bolt 177 is loosened to push the table in a desired direction on a base 1. At that time, since two slits 180 and 5d are crossing, the table 2 can freely change its position on a horizontal surface. Also since the table 2 can be rotated on the base 1 with the fixing bolt 177 as a supporting point, the direction of the table 2 can be changed in free. Fastening the fixing bolt 177 again after this position and direction is adjusted causes the table 2 to be fixed onto the base 1. Consequently the table 2 can change its position and attitude without restraint by a column, allowing setting work to a desired position, and expanding a working range.
