Abstract:
PURPOSE:To support the total load of spectacles with the pads of a nose part and contactors behind the ears and to decrease the large load on the side head part, the auricle, etc., by freely oscillatably installing the contactors near to the ends of the temples toward the inner side. CONSTITUTION:A temple base material 1 is obtd. by working a metallic wire and the contactor 2 is installed near to the temple end of the temple base material 1 in the direction where the contactor comes to the inner side when the temple is connected to the spectacles. The contactor 2 is diverted from an ordinary cling pad made of a silicone resin and is installed oscillatably to the temple base material 1 by means of a contactor joint material 21 diverted from a pad box. The spectacles produced by using such temples T are supported only by the nose pads in contact with the nasal ridge and the contactors in contact with the rear of the auricle when the spectacles are actually put on the face. The tightening of the temple and the contact of the temples with the auricle do not arise any more and an uncomfortable feel is decreased.
