To provide a fixing device which can easily align components to each other even without enhancing the accuracy of the various components, has excellent fixability in spite of simple configuration, has design flexibility, and has low cost and an electrophotographic device using the same.
The fixing device which is provided with at least a heating roll 20, an endless pressurizing belt 6 driven by being touched with its surface, and a pressing member 10 forming a nip section capable of inserting a recording sheet 15 between the heating roll 20 and the pressurizing belt 6 by energizing the pressurizing belt 6 to the surface of the heating roll 20 from the interior of its periphery, and in which the pressing member 10 comprises a supporting frame 7 extending in the transverse direction of the pressurizing belt 6, an elastic member 8 arranged to project toward the pressurizing belt 6 from the supporting frame 7 to energize the pressurizing belt 6 on the surface, and a rigid and flexible low-friction sheet 9 disposed on the energizing surface of the elastic member 8 and provided with the surface coming into contact with the pressurizing belt 6 and the electrophotographic device using the same are provided.
