Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a device by performing the fixing of a pipe and the pressing of a fastening tool by one member.
SOLUTION: When a flange 7a of a press ring 7 which is externally fitted into a water service pipe 3 is fastened to a split tee 2 with a T-head bolt 8 and a nut 9 after a fastening tool 10 is abutted on the side end face 6b of the split tee 2 and is externally fitted, a tapered surface of a pressing part 7b is in press-contact with a tapered surface of the fastening tool 10 and the fastening tool 10 is pressed in a diameter reducing direction. Thus, the split tee 2 is strongly fixed to the water service pipe 3.
