Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse a fixing means, to reduce man-hours, to prevent powder dust from being mixed and to eliminate deformations by attaching an image reading device fixing means to a device main body case from the outside of a bottom surface in the device main body case and preventing the movement of a scanning reciprocative stand.
SOLUTION: A hold plate is inserted inward from an outer side and locked from the bottom surface 18a in respective rectangular opening parts 26 and 27, which are opened on the bottom surface 18a of the main body case (device main body case) in a book scanner and a movement in at least one of a full- speed scanning reciprocative stand, and a half-speed scanning reciprocative stand is restricted by the hold plate. When the movement of one of the reciprocative stands is restricted in the case of carrying or transporting the book scanner or the like, a plate part 11 is inserted from the bottom surface 18a and an attachment base 12 is utilized as a fixing part to the bottom surface 18a in the hold plate. When the book scanner is operated after delivery or the like, the attachment base 12 is inserted from the bottom surface 18a in the hold plate, and the plate part 11 is utilized as the fixing part to the bottom surface 18a.
