Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float cover that is hard to be damaged by abrasion in a short term, even if being rubbed with reefs by ocean wave, tiding, etc.SOLUTION: A float cover is characterized by being constituted from fabric constituted by multifilament yarn comprising core sheath composite fibers where a core component is formed of high melting point polyester and a sheath component is formed of low melting point polyester having a melting point lower than that of the high melting point polyester, and multifilament yarn comprising single phase fibers constituted by polyester having the melting point higher than that of the low melting point polyester, in which the fibers are bonded and solidified by melt-solidification of the low melting point polyester.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
