Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat that permits easy customization of a lower side part thereof in accordance with the preference and/or situation of an angler, as well as a fishing rod.SOLUTION: A reel seat includes a cylindrical reel seat body attachable at a prescribed position of a rod body. The reel seat body comprises: fixation members 12, 13 fixed to the rod body, and having on their top surfaces a reel leg placing surface 5 on which a reel leg is placed; and a bottom member 11 which is a separate component from the fixation members 12, 13, defines a lower-side region opposite to the reel leg placing surface 5, and is detachably attachable to the fixation members 12, 13 in a state in which the fixation members 12, 13 are attached to the rod body; and a holding nut 3 for holding attachment of the bottom member 11 to the fixation members 12, 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
