Title:
FLOW-DOWN TYPE ICE MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3354091
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow-down type ice machine in which the level of ice making water can be detected or regulated accurately even if it is inclining.
SOLUTION: An ice making water tank 30 comprising a body part 50 and a deep part 51 having smaller cross-sectional area than the body part 50 is disposed substaritially under an ice making plate 28. The drain outlet 56 of an overflow pipe 55 is located substantially in the center of the cross-sectional at the body part 50 and the upper limit level H of the ice making water is determined by the position of the drain outlet. A float switch 57 for determining the lower limit level L is disposed substantially in the center of the cross-sectional at the deep part 51. According to the arrangement, upper and lower limit water levels H, L substantially representing those when the level of ice making water is horizontal can be determined even when it is inclining.
