Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid separation material and a method of manufacturing the same, enabling prevention degradation of fluid separation function as a fluid, other than the fluid to be separated, penetrates even at a high temperature.SOLUTION: A fluid separation material 20 includes a porous silica base body 21 manufactured by CVD method, a silica separation film 23 formed on the porous silica base body 21, and an intermediate layer 22 which is provided between the porous silica base body 21 and the silica separation membrane 23, and is formed of silica particles of which at least average particle size is 100-500nm and a product of BET specific surface area [m/g] and average particle size [nm] is 7000 or less.
