Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the resolution of a three-dimensional image and data collecting efficiency in a fluorescence microscope.
CONSTITUTION: This microscope is provided with an objective lens 22 irradiating a sample 10 having fluorescent substance with stimulating light a1, and condensing fluorescence (b) getting out of the luminous flux of the light a1 out of the fluorescence stimulated by the light a1; and nine image-formation lenses 31 respectively condensing the fluorescence b1 to b8 propagated in mutually different directions out of the fluorescence (b) diverged after it is condensed by the lens 22. The images picked up by the respective image-formation lenses 31 are formed on a CCD imaging device 41, and the three-dimensional image of the fluorescent substance is reconstituted by the calculation processing of a CT technique by a reconstitution means 51 based on the plural obtained fluorescent images.
