Abstract:
PURPOSE: To illuminate a very large surface area with one fluorescent lamp by forming a coil on the surface of a glass sealed body by spraying copper granular powder.
CONSTITUTION: Regarding a fluorescent lamp 1, the inner wall is coated with a phosphor body 3 and a coil 4 is formed on the surface of a glass sealed body 2 in which an inert gas and mercury are sealed by induction plasma spraying of copper granular powder. The coil is formed on the whole surface of one side of the glass sealed body and thus visible light-rays are radiated to the whole surface of the fluorescent lamp and a large surface area can be illuminated by one fluorescent lamp.
