Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively bend a sheet metal by winding a sheet metal on a core metal, clamping with an upper and lower slide plates, and sliding forward and backward while pressing.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet metal 7 is wound on a winding core metal 1 of a prescribed shape anticipating a spring back and fixed. The core metal 1 is clamped with upper and lower rubber-like slide plates 2, 3, having an elasticity supporting surface, and slid back and forth while applying a pressing force. The sliding direction of this time can be slid in any of one direction or both directions, and the sheet metal 7 is bent in corresponding to the shape of the core metal 1. Further, the core metal 1 is selected with a quality of material processed with the heat treatment of the quenching, etc., so as to surely keep the bending accuracy.
