Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fluorine-containing aromatic compound which can be used as a crosslinking agent.SOLUTION: There is provided a compound represented by the formula (1). There is provided a method for producing a crosslinking agent of adding 0.5 to 30 mmol, preferably 1 to 15 mmol, more preferably 1.5 to 13 mmol, furthermore preferably 2.5 to 8 mmol of the compound based on 100 g of a fluoroelastomer. As the amount added is larger, the steam resistance and heat resistance tend to be improved, but if the amount added is too large, the resulting crosslinked product becomes too hard.EFFECT: The compound can be used as a crosslinking agent of a fluoroelastomer, and the fluoroelastomer obtained from the compound can be used as a sealant and used by forming into a molded product such as a gasket or a seal ring.SELECTED DRAWING: None
