PURPOSE:To obtain the subject polymer suitable as an imparting agent having lubricating effect on a thermoplastic resin composition, due to the excellent resistance to staining, water-repelling and oil-repelling properties and lubricating effect, having an unit derived from a fluorinated alkyl (meth)acrylate and specifying reduced viscosity. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer has a constituting unit derived from a fluorinated alkyl (meth)acrylate and <=2 reduced viscosity etasp/C (0.1g polymer is dissolved in 100ml chloroform and measured at 25 deg.C). Said polymer is preferably produced by an emulsion polymerization method. Besides, e.g. 2,2,2- trifluoroethyl acrylate is examplified as the fluorinated alkyl acrylate and e.g. 2,2-difluoroethyl methacrylate is used as the fluorinated alkyl methacrylate.
