Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new compound useful as an agricultural and horticultural insecticide and its intermediate.
CONSTITUTION: This nitro compound is expressed by formula I (A is 6-chloro3- pyridyl or 2-chloro-5-thiazolyl; R1 is H or methyl; X is O or S; R2 is H or a 1-4C alkyl; Y is nitro or cyano; R2 is a 1-4C alkyl when X is S), e.g. 3-(6- chloro-3-pyridylmethyl)-5-methyl-4-nitroiminotetrahydro-1,3,5-oxadiazine. The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of formula R4-R3 (R3 is a 1-4C alkyl; R4 is halogen).
