Abstract:
To provide foot-operated means of locking/unlocking, in view of recent public health concerns, an internal lock mounted on a movable door of a building or the like without touching the lock with hand.SOLUTION: Instead of a knob or the like to be manually operated, an internal lock provided with a foot-operated operation body for locking/unlocking the same is installed in the vicinity of the lower part of an openable/closable door panel of a movable door, and is used without directly touching the lock with fingers. An operation body to be operated by foot of a user is selected from several kinds according to the form of the movable door.
