To solve such problems that in placing body weight, ordinarily the body weight is placed on the heel and particularly on the outer side and this weighting becomes greater as fatigue increases and this way of weighting gradually causes bowlegs or deformed knees, and though weighting on the inner side of the feet is fundamental in sport, training methods are limited and most of them require hard labor.
There is provided footwear which has a form of a sandal or a slipper and which has a foot resting base in only the front half portion of the inner side of the sole so that the body weight is placed only on the ball of the foot. For the purpose of shifting the body weight on the inner side of the foot, placing the weight on the ball of the foot is a direct and easy-to-understand training method. By wearing the footwear having such the configuration, the center of gravity comes to the inner side of the body, the central axis of the body is formed, and a well-balanced body is formed.
