Abstract:
To provide a force amplifier of a kind mentioned in an introduction part, wherein wedge members included in a set of the wedge members cooperates each other to reduce friction and wear.
The force amplifier is included in a machine spindle having a cramping member, and provided with a part of two drawbars. One of the drawbars is connected to the cramping member, and the force amplifier is provided a number of sets of cooperating wedge members. Sliding surfaces cooperating each other of the cooperating wedge members are flat and parallel with each other.
