Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the feed-accuracy (line-feed accuracy-line-feed direction printing-position accuracy) of a continuous form with a perforation by detecting the movement of a pin engaged with the perforation, detecting actual feed and correcting the difference of reference feed and actual feed by a feed control means.

CONSTITUTION: A continuous form 100 receives feed force from feed rollers 221, 222 as first transfer means and a tractor 2 as a second transfer means. A feed control means 24 is composed of an optical type rotary encoder 33 and a control circuit controlling the revolution of the feed rollers 221, 222 by the result of the detection of the encoder 33. Driving force is cut when force deforming the perforation of the form is applied to a pin in the friction clutch of a torque limiter 23 (a driving-force control means). The displacement of feed corresponds to the difference of the movement (the movement of the perforation of the form) of the pin of the tractor 2 as actual feed detected by the optical type rotary encoder 33 and reference feed aimed by the feed rollers 221, 222, and displacement is corrected by the control circuit.
