Abstract:
To determine a friction coefficient for forming simulation that can predict highly accurately a thickness reduction rate of a formed part, using a general-purpose method that does neither increase a calculation load nor require a database for calculating a friction coefficient in simulating drawing forming of a metal plate such as a thin steel plate or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for determining friction coefficients to be set in a drawing forming simulation performed by a finite element method, for drawing forming of a blank made of a metal material, performed using a drawing forming die having a die 1A and a punch 1B. The method calculates a friction coefficient μd between the die 1A and the blank and a friction coefficient μp between the punch 1B and the blank on the basis of a ratio (rd/rp) of a die shoulder radius rd to a punch shoulder radius rp, and an average r value obtained by performing a uniaxial tensile test on the blank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
