Abstract:

To provide a friction stirring type jointing tool easily applicable to even a butt plane having non-linear butt line, and its joint area has no defect to leave fewer flash.

This friction stirring type jointing tool 1 contains a tool body 2 shaped as a cylinder rotating around its own shaft center, and a jointing material pressing means in a radial pattern along the outer circumference inclining towards top of this tool body 2. The jointing material pressing means is a plurality of presser balls 10 rotatably arranged along outside the tool body 2 to be rotated together with the tool body 2.
