Abstract:
To provide a front fork capable of obtaining proportional attenuation force characteristics while decreasing a diameter and being simplified.SOLUTION: A front fork 10 disposes a piston 30 inside an inner tube 12. A base portion 31 configuring a part of the piston 30 is a cylindrical member with an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of a cylinder 13, and an outer peripheral surface 31o abuts on an inner peripheral surface 12i of the inner tube 12 and has a diametrical hole portion 31a bored in a diametrical direction. A first attenuation force generating portion that generates attenuation force when oil flows from a tip end toward a terminal end of the inner tube 12, is provided between the base portion 31 and the tip end of the inner tube 12. A second attenuation force generating portion that generates attenuation force when oil flows from the terminal end toward the tip end of the inner tube 12 is provided between the base portion 31 and a partition wall portion 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
