Abstract:
To provide a fuel cell capable of achieving further high power generation performance by activating an electrochemical reaction of a fuel component in a fuel side electrode of the fuel cell.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 1 includes: an electrolyte layer 4; a fuel side electrode 2 which is arranged, the electrolyte layer 4 being sandwiched therebetween, to face each other and is supplied with a fuel component; and an oxygen side electrode 3 supplied with oxygen. The fuel side electrode 2 includes a catalyst carrier and a deposition film formed on a surface of the catalyst carrier. The deposition film contains nickel and tin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
