Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel composition containing a large amount of an alcoholic fuel and capable of maintaining combustion for a long time.
SOLUTION: This fuel composition consists of (A) a cross-linked material of (1) a polymer having (a) an essential constitution unit having carboxy group and/or sulfo group and 20-100 wt % ratio of the constituting unit based on the polymer (1), and substituting 30-100 mol % proton of the acid group with 1 kind or ≥2 kinds onium cations selected from a group consisting of (I) quaternary ammonium cation, (II) tertiary sulfonium cation, (III) quaternary phosphonium cation, (IV) tertiary oxonium cation and (V) an alkylpyridinium cation, and the alcoholic fuel. The carrier for the alcoholic fuel consisting of the material (A) and the fuel consisting of the fuel composition are also provided.
