Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polychloroprene latex excellent in contact properties and waterproof adhesive strength.
SOLUTION: The method for producing polychloroprene latex comprises copolymerizing 100 pts. wt. of chloroprene and 0.5-10 pts. wt. of ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid in the presence of 0.5-10 pts. wt. of polyvinyl alcohol and 0.5-15 pts. wt. of glycol diether, wherein glycol diether is one or more selected from ethylene glycol dimethyl ether, ethylene glycol dibutyl ether and triethylene glycol dibutyl ether.
