The smaller one out of the basic fuel injection amount Qbase and the first maximum fuel injection amount QMAD is taken as the target fuel injection amount Qfnl when an intake air amount sensor does not fail (9), and the smaller one out of the basic fuel injection amount Qbase and the second fuel injection amount QMAP is taken as the target fuel injection amount Qfnl when the intake air amount sensor fails.
