Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device capable of realizing equal-pressure combustion with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A control device is applied to a diesel engine including a fuel injection valve directly injecting a fuel into a combustion chamber. The control device controls equal-pressure combustion to keep a peak of a cylinder pressure in the combustion chamber after starting combustion, substantially constant according to an equal pressure target value Ptptg. In detail, the control device determines a target pressure waveform Tcurve on the basis of an operating state of the engine in a control period including a pressure rise period before the cylinder pressure reaches the equal-pressure target value Ptptg and an equal-pressure period after it reaches the equal-pressure target value Ptptg, in controlling the equal-pressure combustion. The control device divides a fuel injection amount requested per one combustion cycle of the engine and injects the same in multistage from the fuel injection valve to control the cylinder pressure Preal detected by a cylinder pressure sensor to the target pressure waveform Tcurve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
