Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device which is adapted to the size reduction of an internal combustion engine, and also adapted to the supply of fuel to a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fuel injection device 10 having a main body part 20 which forms a passage portion 24 being a part of an intake passage of an internal combustion engine, and an injector 22 arranged at the main body part 20. The main body part 20 comprises a first wall part 40 which extends so as to hang out to the passage portion 24. The first wall part 40 is attached so as to support an injector so that a tip of the injector is oriented to the outside of an outlet opening part 24b of the passage portion. The main body part 20 is formed so that a first passage portion 46 which is partially formed of the first wall part has a cross section shape which is expanded compared with a cross section of an inlet opening part 24a of the passage portion in a second direction which is different from a first direction in which the first wall part hangs out to the passage portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
