Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor capable of suppressing occurrence of surging with deterioration of compression efficiency of compressing air suppressed, and provide a turbocharger.SOLUTION: When a movement member is moved in a radial direction to minimize a flow passage area of an inflow passage, pressure of air flowing into an impeller increases to suppress occurrence of surging. For example, in terms of suppression of deterioration of compression efficiency of compressing air and suppression of occurrence of surging, the movement member is configured to be moved to a position where the flow passage area is appropriate. Consequently, with deterioration of the compression efficiency of compressing air suppressed, occurrence of surging is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
