To provide a fuel pumping device capable of reducing the possibility of burning caused by the reduction of an operation gap generated by the increase of fuel pressure during high-speed rotation.
A fuel pumping device is provided with a pumping plunger reciprocated in an inner hole to supply fuel to each cylinder of a linked engine. A relief valve device is provided to control the sending-out of fuel, and includes a valve member 22 connected to a first piston 23 to be slid in a first cylinder 19. In the first piston 23, course means 43 and 43A are provided to connect both end parts of the first cylinder 19 to each other and pass a limited flow therebetween. On the other hand, a second piston 40 slid in a second cylinder 41 is adapted to be engaged with the end part of the first piston 23. A spring 24 presses the second piston 40 toward the first piston 23, and further presses the valve member 22 for engagement with a valve seat.
