PURPOSE: To control the water flow according to the localized state of washing clothes and to prevent the damage on washing clothes by detecting the localization of them from values according to the decreased amount of the number of rotations computed from the number of rotations and time of a washing/dehydrating tub and the amount of clothes detected by a cloth amount detecting means.
CONSTITUTION: In the dehydration process of the full automatic washing machine, a control means 14 rotates a motor 5 for rotating and driving a washing tub at a prescribed number of rotations and turns off the motor 5 after the lapse of a prescribed dehydration time. By turning off the motor 5, the washing tub rotates by inertia force while reducing the number of rotations of the washing tub gradually and the reduction rates thereof differs from each other according to the amount of washing clothes. When the washing clothes are localized even in the case where the amount of clothes are the same, the reducing rate of the number of rotations is increased. A signal control means 15 detects the localization of clothes basing on the rate of reduction of the number of rotations calculated from the number of rotations and time detected by a means 19 for detecting the number of rotations and the value according to the amount of clothes detected by a cloth amount detecting means 20, resulting in controlling the water supply in the rinsing process.
