Abstract:
To provide fulvene-based compounds, and to provide a production method thereof.
A fulvene compound having substituents at 2,5-positions by using as a starting material an unsaturated ketone having a substituent at -position and a halogen atom at -position, and a production method thereof are provided. A metallocene catalyst which is obtained by reaction of the fulvene compound with an anionic group having a cyclopentadienyl group and has a substituent only at an -position carbon of the bridge of the cyclopentadienyl group, is provided, and a production method of polyolefin copolymer, using the catalyst is provided.
