The functional liquid supply arrangement is provided with a subtank 16 for supplying a functional liquid to a functional liquid droplet discharge head 30, a main tank 111 for replenishing the subtank 111 with the functional liquid, a liquid feeding means 5 for feeding the functional liquid from the main tank 111 to the subtank 16, a low water level detecting means 162 for detecting the low water level of the functional liquid of the subtank 16, and a control means 6 for performing timer control of driving of the liquid feeding means 5 in such a manner that the functional liquid of the subtank 16 attains the functional liquid in accordance with the result of a detection of the low water level detecting means 162.
