Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an agricultural and horticultural mixed fungicide having a wide antimicrobial spectrum and a synergistic effect, preventing development of resistant microorganisms by combining a silicon azole-based compound with an ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor.
CONSTITUTION: A fungicidal composition comprises one or more selected from a silicon azole-based compound of the formula [A is 1,2,4-triazol-1-yl or imidazolyl; (n) is 1-3; X is H, halogen, phenyl, (halogenated)alkyl or (halogenated) alkoxyl] and its salt and one or more selected from an ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitors as active ingredients. (1RS,2RS;1RS,2SR)-1-(4-Chlorophenoxy)-3,3- dimethyl-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)butan-2-ol-1-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-propyl-1,3- dioxolan-2-ylmethyl]1H,1,2,4-triazole may be cited as the ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor.
