Abstract:
To provide a furnace top cover for crucible type induction furnace to enhance a cooling effect.SOLUTION: A furnace top cover for crucible type induction furnace 100, etc., includes a cover body 1 and a flow channel 2 formed inside the cover body 1 and allowing a cooling medium 20 to circulate therein. The cover body 1 is C-letter shaped. The cover body 1 includes an inner peripheral side face 7 forming an inner peripheral side and an outer peripheral side face 8 forming an outer peripheral side. An outer shell which is a side face constituting a cutout 4 is formed by a first end part 9 forming one end part and a second end part 10 forming the other end part, the outer shell having a predetermined thickness. The flow channel 2 includes at least an inner peripheral channel 21, and the inner peripheral channel 21 is formed nearer to inner peripheral face 7 than to the outer peripheral face 8 and in a tubular shape along the inner peripheral face 7. The flow channel 2 is formed continuously by coupling an inlet part 11 formed in the outer peripheral face 8 which is adjacent to the first end part 9 and an outlet part 12 formed in the outer peripheral 8 which is adjacent to the second end part 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
