Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a fuzzy controller which can extremely decrease the number of membership functions and rules necessary for the fuzzy control and also can perform a tuning operation to turn a fuzzy area within a phase plane where a deviation and its changing rate are defined as the coordinate axes. CONSTITUTION:A membership function t=M (e, de) showing a two-dimensional area of a prescribed shape is defined on a plane (e, de) in a three-dimensional space (e, de, t) where the coordinate axis showing the adaptability (t) to a fuzzy assembly is added to a plane defining a deviation (e) and its changing rate (de) as the coordinatae axes. Then a fuzzy area is secured so that a control command (u) or (du) is calculated in response to the deviation (e) and the changing rate of deviation (de) respectively.
