To solve a problem that a drying treatment time is lengthened when garbage sealed in a bag body is fed and subjected to heating and drying treatment.
A garbage disposer comprises an accommodation container 1 capable of accommodating the garbage sealed in a bag body made of a biodegradable polymer, a drying heater (a drying and heating means) 7 and a drying fan (a drying and heating means) 8 for heating the garbage in the accommodation container 1 to perform a drying and weight reduction of the garbage, and an agitation means 5 for agitating the garbage fed into the accommodation container. A projecting part 3 projecting toward the inside of the accommodation container 1 is installed on the bottom of the accommodation container 1, and a projecting part-heating means 4 for heating the projecting part 3 to melt a part of the bag body contacting with the projecting part 3 is installed near the lower part of the projecting part 3. Thereby the garbage sealed in the bag body can be heated faster and uniformly in the accommodation container 1 by the action of the agitation means 5 to shorten the drying treatment time.
