To provide a garbage dry treatment apparatus with a simple constitution realizing miniaturization, generating no bad odor at heating/drying, capable of simply carrying out a washing work and adapted for drying a relatively small amount of garbage in a house.

The garbage dry treatment apparatus is provided with a garbage container 9; a drying device body 1 provided with an openable/closable upper lid 4 and capable of storing and taking out the garbage container 9; a heater 7 provided on the drying device body 1 and heating the garbage 8 in the garbage container 9; a blowing fan 12 provided in the drying device body 1 and blowing air in the drying device body 1 toward the garbage container 9; a deodorization container body 15 having one end communicating with the drying device body 1 through a communication port 13 and provided with a deodorant 17 at the inside; and a suction fan 18 provided at the inside of the other end of the deodorization container body 15, suctioning air in the drying device body 1 from the communication port 13 to the inside of the deodorization container body 15 and discharging it to the outside.
