Abstract:

To provide a gas generator for a multi-stage expansion type air bag, of which inner structure of a housing is improved.

A plurality of combustion chambers 50, 60 are disposed in a cylindrical housing 3, at least one combustion chamber 60 is disposed inside an inner shell 4 disposed eccentrically from the center axis of the housing 3. Each of ignition means 51, 61 arranged to each combustion chambers are arranged eccentrically from the center axis of the housing.
