Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perfectly discharge the gas flowing in a cavity prior to a molten resin to the outside of a mold within a short time.
CONSTITUTION: The cavity wall 5 of a mold is advanced before a mold is closed to preliminarily reduce the volume of a cavity 9 [drawing (a)]. The mold is closed and the cavity 9 is evacuated by an exhaust device [drawing (b)] to perform the injection of a resin 11. At this time, the gas flowing in the cavity prior to a resin 1 is discharged out of the mold by the exhaust device through a gas passage 3. Next, the resin 11 allows the cavity wall 5 to retreat to a desired position in matching relation to the cavity 9 [drawing (c)]. Thereafter, a molded product is cooled to be taken out.
