Abstract:

To provide a gate device facilitating assembly, installation and maintenance.SOLUTION: A gate device comprises: a door guard 3 fixed onto a floor surface 2; a movable gate 4 being supported by the door guard 3 in a slidable manner, moving forward and backward with respect to the door guard 3, and opening/closing a passage way; a pinion 11; a rack 8 having flexibility and engaging with the pinion 11; and an actuator rotationally driving the pinion 11. The pinion 11 is attached to any one of the door guard 3 and the movable gate 4 in a rotatable manner. At least one end portion of the rack 8 having the flexibility is fixed to the other end portion of the door guard 3 or the movable gate 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
