Abstract:
This invention provides a white powder removal apparatus for a bright annealing furnace, capable of removing white powders with simple configuration. A white powder removal apparatus for a bright annealing furnace includes a circulation duct 3 which is located at a cooling zone of a bright annealing furnace, and takes in and cools an atmosphere from the furnace and provides the cooled atmosphere to the furnace, wherein the circulation duct has a collection plate 10 which collects white powders (boron oxide) included in the atmosphere and a trap 9 which recovers the white powders collected by the collection plate. The collection plate is in a take-in duct part 4 where the atmosphere flows transverse direction crossing against up and down direction in the circulation duct.
