PURPOSE: To let a hub be in contact with a sun gear to position the sun gear by interposing a bearing section between an output side shaft section and an epicyclic gear mechanism, and secure a lubricant path to the bearing section with the tip end of the hub extended.

CONSTITUTION: In a transfer means 2, an input side is connected with the second sprocket 12 of a second shaft section 10 at an output side opposite to the aforesaid input side by a chain 14. And an epicyclic mechanism 16 provided for the forward side of the second shaft section is connected with a hub 18 fixed onto a transfer case 4 by a first sleeve 20 when a low shift is selected. Furthermore, an intermediate gear 22 fixed at the rear side of the second shaft section 10 is connected with the second sprocket 12 by a second sleeve 24 when a high shift is selected. In this case, a bearing section 32 is interposed between the second shaft section 10 and the sun gear 34 of the epicyclic gear mechanism 16, and the hub 18 is brought in contact with the sun gear 34, so that the sun gear 34 is thereby positioned. Besides, a lubricant path A to the bearing section 32 is secured with the tip end area of the hub 18 extended.
