Abstract:
To provide germicide deactivating liquid agent which can prevent eye sickness caused by cationic germicide sticking at the inside and/or the outer surface of contact lenses, and which also has both improved wearer comfort and preserve stability.
The germicide deactivating liquid agent is prepared so as to contain (A) anionic high molecular compound and (B) nitrogen-containing non-dissociative high molecular compound, and to have a pH of 6.5 to 8.0 at 25C. By bringing the germicide deactivating liquid agent into contact with the contact lenses, the cationic germicide sticking at the inside and/or the outer surface of the contact lenses is deactivated.
